First day in September
We have made this video which contains important information about the first day to school in September.
Timeline for year 7 admission in September 2021
Monday 15th March 2021
Parents and carers must tell Bristol City Council if they wish to accept the place offered.
Monday 26th April 2021
Bristol City Council will tell St Bernadette’s which offers have been accepted for the school.
15th March to 23th April 2021
Details of late applications, on time applicants still waiting for places at their preferred school and applications that have been withdrawn are exchanged between other Local Authorities and schools in preparation for the second round of offers.
Beginning of May
An information pack will be sent to parents who have accepted the place they have been offered at St Bernadette’s. Parents who applied after 31st October will be informed of the outcome of their application.
End of May/beginning of June
A representative from St Bernadette’s will visit pupils from all Catholic primary schools and some
Non-Catholic primary schools.
Date to be Confirmed
Parents and pupils are invited to the school library between 3.30pm and 5.30pm in order that pupils can try on school uniform before placing their order. Orders must be placed by 26th June.
Appeals for on time applications made by 31st October 2020 will be heard. Appeals for late applications will be heard on TBC where possible or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.
