Curriculum Overview

Our Key Stage 3 Humanities curriculum has primarily been designed to allow pupils to develop the knowledge, understanding and skills that we believe all students should possess in order to be thoughtful and forward thinking global citizens.

As such, topics have been carefully chosen so that by the end of KS3, all students will have covered a variety of challenges facing the world today and the links between human and physical processes, along with the history of its people in chronological order from ancient times to the modern day.

How will I be assessed?

Students will be assessed through assessment questions and end of unit tests. The assessments are split into three sections, Understanding, Skills and Knowledge.
